Hotel Arpoador

The location is excellent, one of the few hotels in Rio with direct access to the beach. The view from the roof top terrace is spectacular - overlooking Ipanema beach and the surroundings. Breakfast was included in our rate and was really good as we were able to choose from the a la carte menu. Having bikes to borrow for a cycle on the beach was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Staying at this hotel was a treat for us at the end of a month of travels thru Argentina and Brasil and really lived up to our expectations.

The food at the hotel's restaurant was nothing short of marvelous, prompting us to forgo our plans elsewhere and return for every meal. The inclusion of breakfast, morning yoga sessions, a well-equipped gym, pool access, and a dedicated beach area with complimentary towels made our stay all the more enjoyable and hassle-free. However, what truly sets Hotel Arpoador apart is its exceptional service. The staff members are not only friendly and outgoing but also remarkably attentive, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and relaxed. Special mention must go to the team at the rooftop bar, whose hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evenings, and to Paulo Thiago, whose exceptional service left a lasting impression. Best location in Rio, the only hotel on the beach. Great views from the hotel.. Amazing ambience .Staff were great and accommodating Room was spacious and comfortable , nice breakfast as well. Will fully recommend

Superb! I fell in love with this hotel from the very first sight. A fantastic location with dramatic views from the rooftop, great interior design and fine cuisine. The stuff is professional and helpful. I stayed in the smallest room facing a wall, but I was still very happy with it — the room was very clean and cozy, the mattress was comfy, there was a great selection of pillows. I also enjoyed the sauna, the bike rental and the beach service. I will definitely come back!

Location was perfect for anyone who wants to walk Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The staff is top grade. They were attentive, kind, and efficient. Rooms were small but cozy. The food was great at the hotel. And the restaurant is just awesome to hang out and rest your feet during. Long day exploring.
